ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

METHODS OF WORK

T.H.E. Arborists are committed to encouraging the practices of maintaining and promoting environments that are rich in ecological biodiversity through habitat creation and preservation. Trees in our urban and woodland environments are crucial to providing healthy eco-systems, sources of food and nesting sites for a variety of birds, invertebrates and mammals, and provide us with an abundance of amenity benefits.

With this in mind we try to encourage tree pruning and maintenance plans to reduce the need to completely remove individual or groups of trees, where this is safe and practical to do so.

By working together and implementing responsible environmentally friendly work practices we can enhance the ecological value of your property.

"God has cared for these trees, saved them from drought, disease, avalanches, and a thousand tempests and floods. But he cannot save them from fools." - John Muir -

CHARITABLE SUPPORT

There are often times when remedial work isn't a safe or practical option and tree removal is the only course of action. To help offset the loss of trees that is inevitable in our line of work,  T.H.E Arborists have a regular donation set up to support the 'Plant a Tree' program run by the World Land Trust through our Corporate Friend association.

The World Land Trust is a UK based non-profit environmental organisation whose primary aims are to ensure conservation of plants, animals and natural communities in areas that are at risk. To find out more about the work they do, please visit www.worldlandtrust.org
